Today, my neighbor passed by my house on his usual evening stroll. The moment I saw him, I loudly yelled, "Cash!!" He immediately came towards the gate of my house. The air was abuzz with excitement. He was definitely more excited than I am (I can tell).
And then he suddenly sniffed my toes! My dogs started barking at him. And he barked back at them..lol.
Cash the Beagle is one of the many friendly pooches who is lucky enough to be taken for a walk by their owners on a regular basis. So much so that I know most of the doggies' names around my neighborhood. The funny thing is, I may know the dog's name, but I do not know the owner's. Our short conversations are usually about the dogs themselves.
Such is the strange but true phenomenon in a neighborhood with such a high population of man's best friend that can wrestle even the population of the humans themselves.
Another neighbor usually takes his dog for walks in the morning at 10-ish. He dresses up his dog in cute clothings and let his dog run behind him while he's riding his bike. It's a very cute sight to behold.
I've also thought of getting some doggy clothes for my Baby and Daisy. But it's kinda expensive and my mum would surely nag me for spending money on those, what with the rising prices of oil and electricity these days.
*sigh* Speaking of rising prices, I queued up for 2 hours that fateful night to fill up my car with petrol. It's all my fault for not doing it in the morning when I went to class. My petrol tank was practically empty already that day.
Anyway, I've kinda lost interest in blogging for the past few weeks. Plus it's a short semester in college this time so everything needs to be done in a rush. And and and....many things happened within these few weeks. My depression came back last week again. I hate that feeling of being useless and unmotivated by anything and everything. Glad it's over now. Time to get back to work!
