Attitude problems

Thanks to all of you who encouraged me with your kind words. Some of you commented here and some of you smsed me. Either way, I'm really grateful :) Makes me feel that life is not so grim after all :D

Yesterday (actually it's two days ago. Because I wrote this yesterday obviously), I finally went to SMKB to get my SPM cert. I know, after all this time right? It's not that I couldn't be bothered to get it. I just conveniently forget every time I'm near that area. Okay that was just an excuse. Actually it's because I feel sort of uncomfortable I don't know why. And my mum, who didn't wanna get it for me, told to get it personally. She dislikes dealing with the office people there. And I can see why after yesterday's encounter with them.

They are, to put it lightly, really quite impolite lor. I went into the office and saw a few Malay ladies sitting idly at their desks. So I told the Malay lady nearest to me that I was there to collect my SPM certificate. (They were quite disorganized by the way) but I don't blame them cause it took me so long to go and get it. They must've put it at the back of an old cupboard by now.

*gtg now...play mahjong first..continue tomorrow morning ;p*

*continued :D*

Anyway, as I was saying yesterday, the Malay lady took out an old file and a list of names for me to look at. Nope. Couldn't find my name there.

Wait a minute. The people on the list are all born in 1989! "Must be the wrong year," I thought to myself. So I told the Malay lady that she got the wrong year and she went into the small room at the back of the office again and came out with another similar shabbier looking file. I looked at the list of names and I saw Lim Hooi Hooi, Cheryl See and also Low Yen Shine on it. Yup, this must be the correct one! But I couldn't find my own name!!!

So I politely conveyed this information to the said Malay lady, who proceeded to look at me with an irritated face. And then she spoke (in an even more irritated voice), "Tengok nombor kat tepi tu lah. Tak tau ke?" Embarrassed, I quickly scanned through the numbers corresponding to our names at the side of the list and quickly found my name. Feeling very uncomfortable already, I quickly signed and left the office. And I thought to myself, "Great! I don't have to come back to this office anymore! There's no reason to :D"

All I can say is, those government servants everywhere need to work on their customer service attitude.

But people with attitude problems are seemingly all over the place! Yesterday I went out for lunch with my mum and bro at a hawker stall nearby. We placed our orders at the respective stalls and took a seat at a vacant table. Then my mum asked me whether I know any of the ladies sitting at another table. I took one look at them and nope, they don't look at all familiar to me. But they were all looking at my mum with a certain dislike on their faces. And my mum didn't even do anything to them. They kept staring and we stared back at them lah. My bro said my mum should go over, slam her fists on the table and ask them what they are looking at.

=.="

Seriously, people with attitude problems are all over the place lah. Even one particular guard in my housing area. Almost every resident here have been scolded by him or spoke to in a disrespectful manner. I guess he must've forgotten that the residents here are the ones paying him his salary. And I wonder why he hasn't been fired yet. According to my mum however, he may be disrespectful but he does a wonderful job at keeping our neighbourhood safe. So the security director here just closes an eye when it comes to his attitude. As for me, I avoid dealing with him. There are many other friendly guards who are equally good at what they are doing and those are the guards I go to if there is anything.

After all that rant about people with attitude problems, I have to admit that I have an attitude problem too,

when I'm driving!

I think it's because I don't have to see those people I scold ever again. Even if I do, they wouldn't recognize me. So remember not to cross me or jump queue or do anything to upset me if you see my car! ;p
